August 2026 - Renewcat has been awarded an NSF SBIR Phase I grant for its work upcycling waste PVC to value added products! The team will use these funds for prototype wax development and scaleup activities.

July 2025 - The team has received word that the original patent for this technology has been awarded!

July 2024 - Renewcat Co-founder Scott Svadlenak has been accepted in the Chain Reaction Innovations (CRI) Fellowship program. He will leverage expertise and resources at Argonne National Laboratory to carry out translational research and development for Renewcat’s PVC upcycling technology.
